Bedankt voor het kijken en tot gauw!
Last week I created this winterscene in a wooden box. I bought it at Ikea and used Gesso as a primer. I decorated both the inside and outside with several blue distress inks. In the background you see a design scrapbooking paper with snowflakes, on which I glued, stamped and embossed different shapes of snowflakes and pine trees (felt, brads, 3 D stickers, foam stickers). On the bottom there is fiberfill to create a thick snowdeck. On the right I made a snowman out of felt, its hat is made from cardstock and the buttons on his belly are minibrads (making Memories). Its scarf is rick-rack. In the centre I used a mini-CD to create a pond, on which the children can do their ice-skating. This is a Magnolia stamp, that Jacqueline colored for me, thank you Jacqueline. On the left you see a bench with a pair of forgotten mittens and wooden shoes. There is a bicycle on the side. The big pine tree is a wooden X-max decoration, that I altered with gesso and distress inks in green. You can see a little owl (brad) in one of the trees.
The glass lid was rubbed with stickels and stamped on the inside and out with Stazon snowflake shapes. On top a ribbon and another large felt snowflake. The fence is from Dusty Attic. On the bottom a pompom ribbon.
Thanks for watching, see you soon!
