At the scrappy-friends-day from a few weeks ago, Gemma told me that Scraptacular still has a
blog, although the shop has been closed a few years ago. It is still a pity that the shop doesn't exist anymore, because I loved to shop there (close by and lots of beautiful goodies). They have great workshops online on the blog, including this one:
Dreamtime. If you like, you can order the whole kit or choose only to buy the chipboard elements. I did neither, but made this gorgeous cabinet with materials from my stash. All chipboard elements (the cabinet itself, the treasurebox and the mini-album covers) were cut out of 2 mm chipboard. Designpapers I used are Tilda's. Also I used ribbon, lace, flowers, beads (for the closet's feet), brads (treasurebox feet), charms and a resin photoframe. The little bottles are low budget, filled with tiny beads. The chipboard elements were put together using tackey glue and sporttape as a replacement for the canvas used in the description. All designpaper's edges were inked with Tea Dye distress ink, all chipboard edges were painted with crackle paint Picked Fence. The cabinet measures approx. 20 cm in height, the mini albums are 4x4,5 cm and in the drawer there is a hidden mini harmonica-envelop album (of 4x4 cm) with small 2 tags in every one of the 6 envelops. It took me a few days to finish it, but I'm so happy the way it turned out!
Thanks for watching, see you soon!
