Bedankt voor het kijken en jullie lieve berichtjes. Tot gauw!
This week I spent my evenings to create this X-mas configuration Box. It took me some time, because some of the details are very tiny. At the local thriftshop I found several small X-mas decorations that I could use, e.g. the knitted Santa on top and the small X-mas tree. I used bakerstwine to shape the canes for the tree by pouring some Glossy Accents over the twine, so that it would stiffen a bit and I could bend them into shape. The fire place is totally selfmade from chipboard and cardstock and it almost looks real with the woodblocks inside, the candles on top (made of pushpins, eyelets and cotton swaps), and the stockings (charms). The woodblock holder was made of a tooth paste lid, on which I wrapped some rope. Credits go to Scrapfanaat Peter for the inspiration! On the lamp post (die by Tim Holtz) I used gesso, distress ink, perfect pearls and fake snow. There is also a music box with an old grammophone, music sheets and a violin charm. At the left box you see a sepia photo of my MIL at the age of 20.
Thanks for watching and your sweet comments, see you soon!
