Toen we in de US waren, heb ik in Santa Fe heerlijk kunnen shoppen bij de 3 grote hobbywinkels, die ze daar rijk zijn. Zoals wij Pipoos hebben, hebben ze in Amerika HobbyLobby, Joann's en Michaels. Door stom toeval hadden wij een hotel in Santa Fe aan dezelfde straat waar de eerste 2 winkels zaten, en Michaels zat in een zijstraat 1 blok verderop. De adressen had ik thuis al opgezocht, dus dat kwam mooi uit.
Wat heb ik dan allemaal gekocht? Nou, voornamelijk TH artikelen, de meeste waren die week met 40% korting, dus dat is dan helemaal leuk. Wat je niet goed kunt zien op de foto linksboven, zijn potjes distress glitter, die ik bij Scrapbook Generations in Springfield gekocht heb. De distresskleur Mermaid Lagoon komt uit Nederland, die krijgen de winkelketens daar pas later in het jaar. Ik ben er in elk geval heel blij mee.

While I was in the US, I went on a shopping spree for Tim Holtz products at HobbyLobby, Joann's and Michaels. It so happened that our hotel in Santa Fe was located in the exact same street as HobbyLobby and Joann's, while Michels was only one block further. Needless to say that I felt like a kid in a candy store, cause in the Netherlands we don't have that many craftstores like the ones mentioned. Plus the fact that most of the embellishments were on sale with a 40% discount, I couldn't have been more happier!
The distress glitter on the photo in the upper left corner were bought at Scrapbook Generation in Springfield and the distress colour Mermaid Lagoon items are from the Netherlands. I'm one lucky and happy girl!
