Bedankt voor het kijken en tot gauw!
I came across this teabox and wanted to alter it. So I got rid of the interior, sanded the whole box and painted it with primer. Next I inked inside and outside with distress inks antique linen, vintage photo, walnut stain and black soot to create a vintage look. On the corners of the glass lid I put some extra primer, so that I could press a corner stamp into it while being wet. In this way you can create a bas reliëf. After drying (you can speed it up by using your heattool) I inked the same stamp with walnut stain and pressed it in the reliëf.
On the inside bottom I put a doily, which I inked and stamped as well. Embellish with lace, flowers, masks and pearl pens of your choise. I used Melissa Frances keyhole, flowers and lace from my stash. I cannot decide yet what to put inside, maybe a mini vintage album or the jewels from my mother, who passed away a few years ago.
Thanks for watching, see you soon!
